A beginner pattern to make you look like a pro
Good afternoon my friendly crocheters, how are you this Thursday? Here we are, in the middle of another week, already! This year is passing by so fast, don’t you think? As always, I am already thinking about the weekend, because Friday afternoon is the weekend, according to my rules! Thinking about a project we could execute during two days of rest, I present to you the mod stripped pillowcases.
What I loved about this idea is the fact that it looks like a difficult pattern at first sight. However, if you are a beginner with a bit of practice already, you can manage to create this pattern with no problem, especially because the tutorial I have here will guide you through all the making of this pillowcase.
Pillowcases are great items to crochet. They are easy to fit in any environment and even easier to sell, they are good pieces to have already done, just waiting for you to sell them. Because of the effect this pattern has, it may be nice to wear different colors, to create a contrast, if you do not want many colors, you can try the same color in different shades.
With this recipe you will produce a 16 x 16 inches pillowcase, if you have a little more practice, you can adapt to make it smaller or bigger. Grab a 5mm hook, your favorite pair of scissors, the zipper for the finishing, and the yarn you chose. If you have leftovers and want to create a colorful piece, you can use them here.
Like this idea? Are you going to try this weekend? Check Yarnspirations, here you have a complete PDF file that will guide you through the making of this pillowcase, make a good use of it. See you in our next crocheting, for now, bye-bye!
